Title I Teacher - Miss Fjelstad
Welcome!
My name is Lea Ann Fjelstad and I am originally from Bainville, Montana. I graduated in December 2009 from the University of Mary in Bismarck with a degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. I received my certification to teach Title I Math and Reading in the summer of 2010, and am currently working towards my library certification. I am also working towards my Masters in Reading. I am so happy to be back in the "home area" and teaching at a small school! Here in Grenora, I am the librarian, Title I teacher, and also the Student Performance Strategist and am loving every minute I get to spend with the great students here!
Title I is a federally funded program designed to provide extra help to students in reading and math. In our program, students receive one-on-one or small group instruction specific to each student's needs. We currently serve students in grades K-6. Activites are fun and engaging for the students while helping them with skills that need a little extra attention.
